	Puppet Theatre - Construction and puppeteering The objectives of the workshop are of two equally important kinds: construction and cenography, concerning traditional glove technique and mixed glove/rods technique and the basics of scenery design/building on one hand, and puppeteering on the other, making the connection between construction work (mainly technical) and puppeteering (actor preparation), therefore concerning techniques of theatre in general, for instance dramatic expression, and specific training techniques on puppeteering, namely those studied in construction techniques. To prepare professional puppeteers is not the objective, since it would be impossible to do so in the given period of time, but to transmit to those who have interest in puppeteering (either by simple curiosity, or by professional curiosity in the case of teachers and childhood teachers) the technical knowledge that will allow the development of their own skills in construction of puppets and a first contact with the actor preparation, since a puppeteer is by all means an actor , in such way that they will be able to work with any inanimate objects.
