Clive Chandler - Artistic Director Clive's career history includes acting with Big Brum Theatre In Education, being a puppeteer with Cannon Hill Puppet Company, working in Central TV as a researcher and for Birmingham City Council as an events' organiser. Clive Chandler and his Puppets has been making shows for children and families for years and Clive is an accomplished Punch and Judy performer. Clive was a founding member of PuppetLink for which he has directed and produced work for more than 10 years. |

José Gil - Director of
Manipulation Gil has been involved in puppet theatre since he was young. A meeting with puppeteer Antonio Dias, left him with a great interest in Teatro D. Roberto (the traditional Portuguese itinerant puppet theatre), of which he is now one of the few current performers. He was one of the founders of S.A.Marionetas, where he produces and directs puppet shows. He also acts as puppet maker for the company. He has worked with Royal de Luxe, and produced The Question of Love video for the band The Gift. Since 1998 he has been the artistic Director of Marionetas na Cidade National Puppet Festival. |

Sally Rew - Producer Sally has worked in theatre from training and working as an actress, through to directing and producing. Sally discovered puppetry when she began working for Arts Council England (West Midlands) in 2001, giving her the opportunity to explore puppetry on a national and international scale as well as to get to know the local puppeteers. She has been working with PuppetLink in initiatives for the promotion and development of puppetry since 2004. |

Sofia Vinagre - Producer &
Performer Sofia is one of the founders of S.A.Marionetas, where she is production director, puppet maker and costume designer. She began her work as a puppeteer in 1998, since which time she has been a programmer and director of Marionetas na Cidade National Puppet Festival Sofia has organised a number of puppet and jazz events in Alcobaca. |

Edward Briggs - Composer &
Musician Ed works in conventional and studio based compositional techniques, using traditional instruments and found sound (as in musique concrete). He is an accomplished player of a range of instruments including French horn, piano and guitar and continues to learn new instruments and techniques. Ed has composed, produced and performed music for theatre, installational artwork, film and radio as well as for live music performances with experimental and jazz music groups. |

Hugo Trindade - Musician Hugo Trindade began his studies at the age of 10 taking lessons from in piano and guitar, progressing to training with the jazz school of Hot Club Portugal. Hugo later studied composition and analysis at the Évora Music Academy and has learned from jazz musicians in Portugal, Spain, France, Germany and England. Hugo has played and collaborated with major jazz artists and was a founder of the jazz avant-garde quintet Audible Architecture, alongside teaching electric guitar, harmony and ensemble at the Alcobaça Music Academy and the Évora Music Academy. |

Marcus Fernando - Performer Marcus is an actor who began in puppetry with the Cannon Hill Puppet Theatre on a production of Treasure Island. Over the twenty years since he has worked as an actor and puppeteer with The National Theatre, Little Angel Theatre, London Bubble, Middle Ground and Dreamscape. He has also worked with the esteemed director Steve Tiplady on two projects, including the pioneering new production, “King of the Castle”, produced by Clive Chandler of PuppetLink for dynamics 05 International Puppet Festival. |

Tina Hofman - Performer Tina started her training in her native Zagreb then came to London to specialise in physical theatre at the Desmond Jones School, also training with Ichiro Nakayama in Suzuki training for actors, Marcello Magni of Complicite Theatre in devising and Antonio Fava in mask and Commedia dell'Arte. Tina has worked on a variety of different projects as an actress, puppeteer, street performer, deviser and director, from Shakespeare to multimedia devised performances. Tina has much experience of international working as a performer and as a movement tutor. |

Natacha Pereira - Performer Natacha has a degree in Painting from the Faculty Fine Arts, University of Porto, and a degree in web-design at IPFEL. She has created the artwork for the album covers of several bands and had her paintings have been seen in individual and collective exhibitions in Alcobaça, Lisbon and Porto. Her work as a puppeteer started with the beginning of S.A.Marionetas Company, where she is a puppeteer and graphic designer. |

Jim Duncombe - Technician With a prolific background in film, Jim has been working as an actor, writer and director since 1994. With additional experience in puppeteering, puppet and mask making, stage acting and stage technical support, Jim is a diverse team member. |

Chris Cuthbert - Technician Chris Cuthbert has always been involved in performance, theatre and the arts. Working initially as a technician at the Midlands Arts Centre (Mac), in 2000 he went on to become the Production Director of an Internet Broadcast company managing projects of for MSN, AOL, and Universal Music (including producing the launch event for Robbie Williams “What We Did Last Summer' at Leicester Square Odeon). In 2004 he returned to Birmingham where he established Acquis Media – a highly successful design and delivery company for the arts. |
